The visa is valid for up to 6 weeks and currently costs around 15 euros. However, if you intend to visit the Sinai area only, you can obtain a visa for Sinai only, free of charge, for a stay up to 14 days.
An Egyptian visa is required for travel outside the Sinai area, and can be purchased for about $15 euros. It is valid for 30 days, and must be used within a 6 month period.
